Tried to find my way out of this account - and I come across this information:


How can I close my deviantART account?
At this time we have discontinued our Account Closure program.

We apologize for any inconvenience and hope to have a more streamlined and efficient system in place soon.

If you have a compelling reason to ask for your account to be banned this can be performed upon administrative review. The majority of requests will not be honored at this time.

In order to remove information and submissions from from your account please see the following instructions:

1.) Journals: To delete your journals, you will need to visit your journal management page, once there the option to delete entries will be presented to you.

2.) Deleting Deviations: Please see FAQ:72

3.) Storing Deviations: If you elect to store your deviations rather than delete them please visit your Gallery management page.

4.) devWATCH (Friends): To remove users from your deviantWATCH, you will need to visit your devwatch management page, from there you will need to check the checkbox titled 'remove' next to each user, once done click on 'Update'.

5.) Favorites: To remove favorites, you will need to visit the deviation you have favourited and click on the 'Remove Favorite' link, located to the left of the deviation.

6.) Profile: To remove your profile information please visit your Profile page and select the User page Display tab.

7.) Avatar: To remove your avatar please save the default image and replace your current avatar in your Profile page on the Identity tab.

Please note that your account cannot be deleted. Also note that your comments and past interaction cannot be removed.

Once you have completed the seven steps outlined above please logout.

... Everyone has pretty much said the same thing, so rather than answer the same thing over and over, I thought I would post another journal stating my decision.

I have decided that I will be deleting this account.
It's all such a mess. And I am sorry to disappoint anyone.
I will close this account shortly, I don't know when, but please keep an eye out for one final journal with my new account link.
I hope this doesn't cause any inconvience to any of you.

In the mean time: -

If you could all please add me, as it'll take forever for me to re-add you all.

And look forward to seeing some completely different pieces of work from me. This account will be in the past. It is time to start a new.

Now that I have deleted all but 3 deviations, I really don't know whether or not to just cancel this account.
I still enjoy being on this site.
I have so much crap going on in my life right now, that I can't even bring myself to talk about it.
At the moment I feel numb. And I'm scared.
I enjoy watching all of you, and looking through your deviations. I have so many favs, and I could just keep faving, you guys are my inspiration.
I have other accounts on here, of which I may continue to use...again, I might not.
I really don't know what to do right now.
All I know is that I just want to escape from this life and take some time out.
I know that's not gonna happen, but if I can do that virtually then, that'll be enough I think.
Thanks for being there when I needed you.
What's happening now, I don't know who to turn to. So I just want to keep it all locked inside no matter how bad that is, just until I come to terms with it all, and sort my head out.

Not that many of you would care. I only have a few friends on here, of whom I could add to my new account anyway.
